Dear Volunteer Co-ordinator,

For Volunteers Week this year (1st - 7th June), we will be holding a Volunteer Awards Ceremony.

As Volunteers Week is generally quite busy for everyone, we have decided to hold this event on Thursday 11th June 2009 from 11.00am to 2.00pm.

You are invited to nominate volunteers to receive an award certificate and attend the event.

Lunch and refreshments will be served on the day and certificates will be awarded by the Mayor in office.

December 2008 marked 30 years since the start of Hounslow Volunteer Centre.

We had a celebration party with performances by young people as well as award presentations to volunteers. Stories of various positive voluntary experiences were shared and the event was a great success.
