Who can be a Volunteer
No qualifications arer necessary, just the dsire to do something constructive and worthwhile for the community you live in.
Volunteer centre Hounslow operates an equal Opportunities Policy. We believe that eeveryone has the right to volunteer irrespective of race, gender , disability, sexual orientation, marital status, ethnicity or religious belief.
We also operate a confidentiality policy, so we do not disclose your information outside of our organisation unless it is relevant to the organisation we are referring you to.
Asylum Seekers and Refugees can undertake voluntary work, regardless of whether they have permission to carry out paid work or not.
Foreign visitors visiting from European union countries can undertake voluntary work during their stay in the U.K, this includes nationals of Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein. There may be restrictions on foreign nationals from any other country wanting to volunteer in the U./K. This is dependant on their visa restrictions.
